# ASKx

> ASKx is an AI data analyst assistant that managers and analysts question in Persian (and English) about their business data. The language model never produces the numbers: governed tools compute them from the organisation's own data, and a validator matches every number in the answer to its source before it is shown. ASKx runs entirely on the organisation's servers with local open-source models.

- Numbers in answers are never generated by the language model; tools compute them from the organisation's data and a validator checks each one against its source.
- Explanations label each driver as evidence in the data or as a hypothesis.
- Forecasts are published only when they beat a naive baseline in rolling backtests.
- Users can attach PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint files and images (Persian and English OCR).
- It is self-hosted on the organisation's servers and uses local open-source models by default (vLLM, Ollama, LM Studio, llama.cpp); external providers only if an admin allows them.
- It is industry-agnostic: retail, banking and insurance, telecom, pharma, manufacturing, e-commerce, energy, market research.
